Being Compassionate Creativity

Kāli Quinn (She/They) is an author, theater maker, violinist, and visual artist.

She has performed her solo shows off-off broadway and throughout the US; taught at MIT, Brown and Duke Universities; co-founded GUTWorks Theater Co. in NYC; created original performances at Mississippi University for Women, Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble, Clowns Without Borders in Guatemala, Grupo Galpão (Brazil), and Accademia dell’Arte (Italy).

Kāli wrote I Am Compassionate Creativity and shared the stories aloud on a 12,000-mile national tour in 2016. These house-concerts started where she then lived (Providence, RI) to where she grew up (Buffalo, NY) - by way of California. During this trip, she passed through Bisbee, AZ - where she has now created an artist live/work space called the Center for Compassionate Creativity.

She is now gratefully based in her hometown of Buffalo, NY - on land of the Haudenosaunee lands of the Seneca Nation - where she currently gives public & private trolley tours at the historic Forest Lawn Cemetery.
