Supported, Assembled & Installed With Kelly Orr

When my dad was 44, he wrote a journal. When his life concluded three years later, I left Buffalo at the age of 18. After 26 years, now 44 myself it is relating to my dad’s words - along with learning from land and water of the Southwest desert - that have returned me to home to Buffalo. In this exhibit, my collages are brought to life through screen-printing and printing press techniques that I learned while in residency at WNY Book Arts.

REMEMBER ME HOME

a visual art memoir

All the beauty, all the poetry

must be there just waiting

to be seen and said.

That is not faith,

that is the only sanity.

The artist is the universe’s attempt to reconcile,

to express itself…

- Thom Quinn, Page 52 & 37 (1996-1999)
